Afghani Kush does exactly what you’d expect from a pure Indica strain. It affects your body more than your mind, which means a lot of relaxation and sedation. What does Afghani Kush look and taste like?

 

This plant is resinous and sticky enough to give you sticky fingers from the first moment you smoke it. As for the nugs, they’re easily crumbled, with a light colour, while the buds are covered in dark-orange hairs and a coat of white-crystalized trichomes. The contrasting colours lead to a very impressive visual aspect, one that’s stunning enough to encourage continuous consumption. When it comes to flavour and aroma, this strain packs a very exotic punch. It takes the form of odorous mango, with a pungent and skunky whiff of pine and herbal extracts. There’s a spicy woody and floral kush smell toward the exhale, and when you thought things couldn’t get any better, the sweet aroma of earth appears out of nowhere. It’s a truly delicious flavour that doesn’t lose ground to anything out there.

What are the effects of Afghani Kush?

 

While debatable, we approximate the THC concentration of Afghani Kush to be somewhere around 15-18%, sometimes reaching 21%. Its CBD concentration rests at 6%, though, which is fairly high for any weed strain. Its effects are mainly therapeutic, with ample relaxing and sedative benefits that help your body heal itself. It can help with psychological issues such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more. Despite being very low in euphoria, Afghani Kush will improve your mood for some time.

Its physical effects are more important than its cerebral ones, though. Especially when it has such a high CBD concentration.     The aroma is excellent! The taste is great, and the smoke was smooth! Super mellow high! The buds were well trimmed with little to no stems and It burns beautifully! I couldn’t ask for more in a strain, personally!
    I will definitely be purchasing this strain again!

    This strain is quite potent. Best for use after work to smooth all the pain away. Also perfect for sleeping.

    A little leathery like Jack Herer. Sweet citrus notes, mostly lemon. An underlying earthy dankness. A bit of a Nag Champa hint upon tasting the unlit joint. Smoke is thick, pungent and lingering. Charges like a bull right out of the gate with a heavy stone and body high. ‘s one of the most effective strains for pain that I’ve come across so far, and far surpasses any prescription or OTC medication I’ve ever tried for inflammation. I highly recommend this for pain patients. Insomnia will not prevail here either. One of the few pure Indicas I really like.

    Contrary to other reviews, I find this the headiest kush I’ve ever had, almost like a green crack hybrid. Great effects for the body anyway, and it definitely helps with sleep after the head trip winds down. It’s plenty potent.

    Felt my anxiety melt after just a few puffs. Not the best for being productive, but my creative mind was certainly piqued.

    Not recommended to focus work, but very much for meditation, relaxation and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

    Very fire. Perfect for my needs: daytime anxiety relief, bit of THC to help eat. Basically the inverse of Charlotte’s Web CBD, incidentally: about 18-24% with 5-6% CBD, where the CW is 17%CBD to 5%THC. Or something like that. I’m mostly going on a qualitative estimation here. Sometimes I mix the two 1:1 to try and achieve cannabinoid equilibrium.

    But it’s mellow, sticky and terpy, smokes nice. I got it to fill my appetite for Hindu Kush strains. Love that earthy rich indica-type dank. Afghani was all burned up quick–good thing you get a dece price for it, too.

    Got this on sale a while back, the last time I had Afghan Kush was probably over a decade ago and I didn’t have as much context back then. After smoking it I was definitely impressed. It looks the most like the picture out of any strain I’ve got from MMJ. Lots of orange hairs on dense buds. Really enjoyable evening smoke, the high cbd content helps contribute to this. Didn’t knock me out but delivered a nice chill high perfect to enjoy with a movie or to help with pain relief. I’ll be buying it again when I see it in stock!

    This has a very orange kind of of colour, nice size nugs, I enjoyed this bag. I like trying all the strains MMJ has on a lower priced point. Some are better then others this one is ok . I noticed some strains that were lower priced before have gone up lately maybe I should stop giving the sale strains such good reviews. But if this one comes back in stock will try again.

    I found this strain to be great for depression, anxiety and pain. Having the cbd also is a bonus.
    The smoke was smooth the high was a relaxing delight. Great for a daily user to get high and go about your day.

    Afghan Kush was a nice surprise. In appearance, the buds were small and had little to no smell. Just looked plain. However, it was much better than expected.

    After smoking this bud, you’ll fall asleep from being so relaxed. The high CBD levels help pain, so can be used to treat pain but has pretty mellow effects in all.

    It’s just a nice weed, what can you say. It’s got a lot of history to it as well. Read up on Afgani cannabis and hashish. If you like the Hindu Kushs, or those variants of weed, then this is right up your ally.

    Try it out, for the price it’s worth it.

    Hands down this has to be one of my most favorite strains. I always make sure to have some on hand and smoke it almost every evening.

    It’s great for relaxing without giving the munchies too bad. It helps with my pain control, anxiety and depression as well as insomnia.

    I find it a nice smooth strain and it doesn’t give me the munchies.

    This strain is good for what it is. I’m not super picky when it comes to trying different strains. I’d say this one is weaker it potency, but smokes smooth. The high is gentle but nice and relaxing, it seems to be pretty euphoric, I’d recommend this strain for daily use

    I will start this by confirming that this is 💯% my favorite strain. From the very solid thc levels to 6% cbd levels, this strain is for ignoring your problems and boping along to your daily activities.  I personally suffer from sever anxiety so the cbd is a life saver.

    For a start, one sniff from this bag will have you sniffing again and again to try and figure out what makes it smell so good. I’ve done it 😂. It isn’t dank or really Skunky.  Just citrus and earthy overtones.

    As for the flavor it is unique in its own rights. Airing more on the earthy side of the spectrum with a hint of gas.

    The bud structure is wonderful with various sizes and good density.

    So yeah, if you were thinking about trying this bud, I would suggest go for it. ESPECIALLY if you suffer from anxiety. It’s converted me to a huge fan.

    This is a heavy hitting strain that helps to relax me later in the evening.
    It’s not overly sedating, so it can also be great for daytime use.
    Helps to take the edge off the pain and relax the mind.
